Peck Cemetary is on of the most talked about cemetaries
in central Illinois, among those who investigate the paranormal, and one of the hardest to get into. When it comes to " ghost stories " in this area people lean towards the very active Peck Cemetary. After a meeting with the township person over the cemetary, and the care taker of the grounds, I got full permission to take my group into the old cemetary. I am not going to say who I talk to, to get into Peck Cemetary by their wishes, but I would like to thank those whom gave K.B.L.P.R. Illinois full run of the old cemetary.
On Nov. 10th, at 10:00 p.m. We arrived at Peck Cemetary with eight members of K.B.L.P.R. Illinois for this investigation. After taking EVP's on this night, we ended up with no recordings to acount for, but after taking EMF readings we got some good high peaks and also some good photos. Troy, Assistant director of K.B.L.P.R. Illinois also ended up geting some very unusual tempature changes. The night was going very well untill about a half hour before we were about to wrap it up for the night. That is when
it all came alive. Every last person in the group had an experince at this time. From group members seeing shadow people to every last one of us hearing a scream. The scream sounded like it came from the north-west corner of the cemetary where, investigator's Ricky and Fallon were at. Troy, Candi, and new member Aaron, were all in the southwest corner and Tammy, Paul, and myself, Toby, were all working the east side of Peck. When the scream
let out and Ricky and Fallon were in that area, they say it sounded like the scream came from the east side, but when we all talked about it we all told ricky and Fallon that it came from their area. Troy and his group that he had on the south west side even said that they thought it came from their area of Peck.
A second investigation is in the works for Peck Cemetary and it will probably be coming up in the next couple of weeks. We are wanting answers so we have decided to go back ASAP to see what we here at K.B.L.P.R. Illinois can maybe come up with. Stop back in for the posting of night two at one of the most talked about cemetaries in central Illinois, Peck Cemetary!
