Our trip to Waverly Hills was taken on June 28th from the time of 12:00am - 4:00am. This trip turned to be an unforgettable one. We had members from Kentucky and Illinois along with a couple guests.
The day consisted of storms and a three day grace of a full moon. . .we felt if ever a time to "retrieve" information . We were in hope - the time was more than right for us.
There were several personal experiences through out the evening. One being, for all of us, a distinct heaviness in the air resulting to chest pain. One can wonder if humidity and location would be the cause but by the end of the night - we just don't think that was it at all. Personal experiences are as follows:
01. One investigator had stopped to sit down - while leaning over her badge was lifted as if someone had picked it up to look at it - then dropped it. When she looked up to see who was there - noone was there. This happened on the 5th floor where on a previous investigation there an evp was taken of a child laughing and claiming to be 7.
02. an investigator was in the stairway between the 2nd and 3rd floor - saw a figure of a little girl and possibly a picture of her as well.
03. An Illinois investigator did NOT have her hands anywhere near her camera and the flash repeatedly went off . . .the camera had never done that nore has it done it since.
04. Two investigators on the 4th floor - left during the investigation. They had chest pains - felt a "heaviness" over them and saw a big dark figure.
05. An investigator while taking pictures thought she saw someone in the nurses station when the flash went off - and when she looked again - there was noone there, however, after researching the photo's - there does look to be a nurse / someone in the station.
06. On the 5th floor - an investigator was looking around - recording audio. He felt like someone was near him - when he turned around - he was face to face with an apparition - then suddenly disappeared. There is also an evp we are retrieving that is believed to say "I am not dead".
At this point, this investigation stands out the most to us. Waverly Hills has become one of out favorite places to visit. We try to go twice a year - we have all experienced mixed emotions while investigating there - however, only personal experience is the best knowledge. . .
